On June 18th, KGIS Owner and Senior Management met with representatives from Kingston University, London/Study Group UK and University of Western Australia (UWA)/Taylor’s Institute to sign the agreement which allows KGIS to offer its Year 13 students a fully accredited University Foundation Course to gain guaranteed university placements upon successful completion of the course. This course was welcomed by the new KGIS teaching team for it’s amazing range of support and opportunities, including student ‘taster trips’ to the respective universities and summer English support courses.
Presentations and discussions took place in the new school building followed by a lovely lunch supplied by a local restaurant. In the evening, a fabulous dinner was hosted in the Chedi Hotel followed by an Agreement Signing Ceremony. It was a highly productive event but, most of all, KGIS is extremely excited not only about the tremendous, one-of-a-kind opportunity it is now able to offer Oman-based students as part of its top-quality education package, but also the possibilities in the future via this collaboration across the seas between the UK, Oman and Australia.
